Table Rock: Table Rock maar complex, located midway between Silver Lake and Christmas Valley, consists of Table Rock (a tuff cone), two large tuff rings, and six smaller tuff rings and eroded vents. The highest point is the top of Table Rock, 395 meters above the basin floor. The cone is capped with a basalt lava lake now partially eroded.
Thompson Reservoir: One of Lake County's most popular fishing destinations. Trout are stocked in the reservoir on a regular basis. The US Forest Service has two campgrounds located here, both of which are accessed by paved roads. This reservoir was created in 1921 and provides water for more than 2,700 acres of irrigated land.
Hagar Mountain Lookout: This US Forest Service lookout atop 7,200-foot Hager Mountain, rewards visitors with a 360-degree view of the area, including the Cascades to the west and Mount Shasta to the south. The lookout is available for rent from November 15 through April 15.
